This quote by Bee Wilson in her amazing book “First Bite” is talking about how sometimes when we eat, it isn’t food that we are hungry for. Or isn’t all we are hungry for. Sometimes it’s connection, or love, relationship, memories, distraction. Until we know what it is that we’re craving, we can’t fully satiate it.
